So, what’s been going on this week? Labour is behind Small Businesses Ed Miliband has been in the news a lot recently – but for a good reason! The Labour party has announced plans to become the party ‘for small businesses’ – by increasing corporation tax that bigger firms pay on their profits.  This would cost bigger companies almost £800 million a year – which, Miliband has promised, will be handed to out to smaller businesses in the form of lower business rates.
